Chef Angelo Sosa, a strong competitor all season, swept last night's episode, taking home a Quickfire win (and trip to London) for his sauteed foie gras and his short ribs.
Ultimately, the crunch and intense flavor of his short ribs edged out his competitors, with Ripert repeatedly mentioning how much he loved the juniper aspect of the dish. For his efforts, Angelo not only got to head to Singapore on a high note, but he also took home a brand new Toyota Avalon and his meal will be turned into space food (which is truly, genuinely cool, no?).This post is only for positive comments regarding Chef Sosa.
