And disappointment is felt all around the Top Chef fandom as a clear favorite was eliminated in the first round of the finals. Chef Carla Hall brought lots of love to the show, in both her cooking and her attitude. Unfortunately, the judges weren't feeling the love this week in her pork tenderloin with apple chips and sweet potatoes. Carla once again tried a technique that she would not ordinarily have done - deep frying pork tenderloins - and again it failed her.
Chef Hall was a very strong competitor this year, winning three Elimination Challenges, and the hearts of all. I think it's probably safe to say that we all love Carla and are sad to see her go at this point in the competition.
This post is only for positive comments about Chef Hall and her dishes. If you have anything negative to say, please do so

Carla is such a sweetheart, and I love how she discussed her experience about learning about herself. It's great to see someone respond so well to competition.
I saw it coming and couldn't stop it....I"m so sad she is gone. NOw I want Antoina to clean up ont eh rest. Tiffany definately needs to go hoe next....then Mike.....
Carla!!!! You will be sorely missed!! Someone please get this woman a cooking show...
Carla would be wonderful as host of a cooking show. She did a demo for Bravo's website once for some sort of tart that was awesome - not to mention that we need a southern chef on air with class, intelligence, and style to combat the impression given by Paula and the Neelys. I'm going to miss her!
And there goes the classiest contestant ever to appear on a reality competition. Without Carla, it's just so much backbiting, bragging, belittling, and other ugliness.
