This one is tough because I am one of the biggest fan's of top chef EVER! I would say that one of my favorite's is Dave. He was so funny and just cute. Plus, his recipes were amazing. And his twitches were quite funny. He has so much passion and that is why he is my favorite!

I have lots of favorite TC chef-testants, but I really love Kevin Gillespie from last season. Voltaggio is great, but Kevin should have won! *mrs.swish(at)gmail(dot)com*

Antonia. She was always confident without being cocky, and she didn't take any shit from Spike. And I've made several of her recipes that have become favorites.
PS Jay- I just saw Dave at the Veggie U Food & Wine Celebration in Ohio with Lee Anne Wong. He was very cute, and was wearing a black chef's jacket and some very colorful shorts. And his dish was very tasty.

Gotta go with Bryan Voltaggio. I work in the office above Volt, so I'm a bit biased...

(Second choice is Spike for the toasted marshmallow milkshake at Good Stuff Eatery)

I love so many chef-testants but the first one to spring to mind is Stephanie. She seemed warm, generous and very likable.

did you mean for people to publish their email addresses on the site? is it possible to have the contest without this?

Why, "Anonymous," how else can I contact you if you don't leave an email address? I should just announce names on the blog, assuming that everyone who leaves a comment is a regular reader, and hope that the winners will happen to stumble back and notice their names? When I've done that in the past, I've had to re-draw names. So - if you want to win, include an email address. At the very least have one on your blogger profile so if I click your name, I can find it there.

You may of course try emailing alltopchef@gmail.com, but with the load of mail we get, it can't be guaranteed that your message won't accidentally get deleted, or worse, end up in the spam box and never be seen at all.

I have a lot of favorites: Stephanie, Carla (who should have her own show), Stefan, Kevin Gillespie, etc., but Hubert Keller from the first Top Chef Masters comes out on top. He's so cool and his food seems wonderful. I can't wait to eat at one of his restaurants.

My FAVORITE contestants were they Voltaggio boys! They are so adorable, so different and so great to watch. Never had I seen siblings be on the show and I loved it! Not to mention that VOLT is near to where I live and is a fabulous restaurant!

I loved Dave in season 1, but my all-time favorite is Carla, who proved you can bring the love and let your food speak for itself without developing any slimy strategies to undermine your comopetition.

Besides, I've met Carla, and she is every bit as warm, effusive, and real as she appears on screen.

Love Dave - met him at Veggie U a few months ago. Definitely my favorite and still cracks me up. I have his cookbook, but haven't busted anything out of yet.

I have to say, Bryan Voltaggio. Two of my kids and their significant others have eaten at Volt and think his food and his positive involvement with the Frederick County community is great!!!!!! I enjoyed watching him on TV and hope some day to get to Volt or a Frederick Keys game and maybe... just maybe see him! :)

My favorite is Michael Voltaggio because he's so cute.

Hubert Keller because of that adorable French accent and overall awesomeness. Top Chef Masters is not the same without him.

I liked Spike, and not just because that's my online name!

It's definitely Kevin from last season. Such a humble and talented guy, and I have to support my hometown.
