Favorite? You want me to pick a FAVORITE??? How can I? I love my kitchen gadgets...but I have enough love in my heart for even more...so I guess I would have to choose...the rubber thingie that helps me open jars (I have no idea what it's called...I just say "hand me the thingie.")

I'm with DebbyT - it's hard to pick just one. But my mandoline sure comes in handy.
I have this insane pair of...I don't know what they're called, really -- let's just say "salad scissors." They're somewhere between a scissor and a tongs, so you can chop and toss your salad at the same time. (rottendriver @ gmail.com)
i may not use it often, but i love my immersion blender!
I already have a Microplane zester and couldn't be without it. I'll never buy ground nutmeg again.
Favorite Gadget would have to be my stand mixer I received as a gift quite a number of years ago. I don't know how I would have been able to make things without it.

It is really hard to peg down a favorite since they all seem to come in handy...but I do love my Aligator Onion Dicer. Works like a charm & I do not have to cry my eyes out dicing onions.

I love my Henckels curved peeling knife that I brought home from a trip to Germany. (nosse.web @ gmail.com)
You know, it isn't much of a gadget, but I really like my can opener. It is easy to use and removes the entire top of the can, leaving a blunt edge. I needed another one for the trailer and purchased the same style again. It's made by good grips.

Oh man, that's hard. If I am going for most useful overall, probably the food processor. But the most fun to use is probably the zester.

My current favorite is a strawberry huller shaped like an elongated strawberry with a push button that opens a claw at the tip to grab onto and remove both the leaves and the hull.

I've always lusted after a nice stand mixer, but in the absence of one, I've taken to using my boyfriend's hand mixer. I've got to say, it allows my arms an impressive range of movement. I could make cake batter and dance around the kitchen at the same time! Er...not that I ever do that.

I guess my favorite kitchen gadget would be my potato peeler, sometimes I peel things just because it is fun.Don't tell anyone, okay? I think that might be kind of weird.

I agree with everyone who says its hard to pick just one but right now, with summer corn at its delicious peak, I'm loving my OXO corn cob scraper thing (I truly am not sure what its official name is). (mwolfe @ thedadegroup.com)

My favorite kitchen gadget is my microplaner. I use it to zest anything and everything I can get my hands on.
Thanks so much for the opportunity to enter my name.
As an avid baker I love my hand mixer. I've burned at least 3 by now (royal icing is no easy feature on cheapo mixers) and I just happen to love it. :)

I'm not big on gadgets, but what I must have is my bamboo cutting board!

My chef's knife (is that a gadget?) is definitely my favorite. I couldn't cook without it.
my fave gadget is the electric mixer.

I don't know if you would call it a gadget but I love my bread maker. It makes things so much easier!

My favorite gadget would have to be my Kitchen Aid mixer. I've had it forever, it's survived 9 military moves and 2 wives.
