Tonight we said goodbye to Chef Jennifer Carroll, after a hard fought season, and a hard fought challenge, in which all the chefs delivered amazing food. As judge Tom Colicchio said, everyone's dishes were excellent, but someone had to go home and unfortunately, that someone was Chef Carroll, who's chevre mousse was an interesting combination, but a bit oversalted. In addition, Chef Carroll was a little scattered in the kitchen and had to change her game plan when coals she prepared to grill duck went out. Overall, however, the judges enjoyed her dishes and wished her well.

LOVED her. I made reservations today at 10 Arts later on this month in honor of her outstanding showing on Top Chef
So sad to see her go. Its interesting how the editing transformed her. At the beginning she seemed a bit cocky ice queen B. But by the end we got to see a pretty complicated and passionate person. Pretty and complicated and talented and passionate. This was such a strong season with multiple superchefs... almost wish she saved her TC appearance for another season.
